The second part of today’s blog on the best trailers of Gamescom 2017 covers the biggest multiplayer games you’ll be playing in the coming months. From the hotly anticipated Destiny 2 to a the dinosaur slaying Monster Hunter: World, this year’s Gamescom has been another standout year for team-based adventures.

The original Destiny was widely praised upon release for its action-packed gameplay and addictive RPG elements, but has received its fair share of criticism in the time since for its lacklustre plot. Developer Bungie appears to have taken that criticism seriously, as the Destiny 2 launch trailer revealed during Gamescom this week contains the kind of high-octane storytelling we’ve come to expect from the creators of Halo. Destiny 2 launches for the PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th and the PC in October.
Overwatch players will be happy to know they will soon have access to a brand spanking new escort map in the form of the post-apocalyptic haven, Junkertown. It’s up to you to protect the town’s cash payload and make sure it’s delivered safe and sound to the town’s queen. Developer Blizzard says Junkertown is coming soon.
Monster Hunter: World
Have you ever dreamed about teaming up with three friends to take down giant dinosaur-like beasts? If so then you may want to check out Monster Hunter: World, the fifth main title in Capcom’s Monster Hunter Franchise and the first for the current generation of consoles. The Gamescom trailer for Monster Hunter: World highlights the game area of Wildspire Wastes, a desolate desert filled with sand dunes and swamps and home to some of the game’s most formidable creatures. Monster Hunter: World is set for release on the PS4, Xbox One and PC early next year.
