Retail Excellence Ireland (REI) announced its finalists for the 2014 REI Awards on Friday.

The companies chosen were selected because they are “exemplars of the retail industry,” according to REI’s CEO, David Fitzsimons. The process to select the finalists involved application reviews, mystery shopper visits, and a store audit.

David Fitzsimons congratulated those honoured as finalists for the 2014 REI Awards. He said, “Their success shows what can be achieved from the application of a strategic vision for Retail in Ireland. All have been selected as finalists because they have shown a consistent commitment to excellence in meeting and exceeding customer expectations. The Irish shopping experience continues to match the best that Retail can offer around the world.”

He turned his attention to the future and added, “We believe that these stores are well placed to capitalise on a positive Christmas Season.”

The 2014 REI Awards will take place in the Radisson Blu in Galway on November 1st, 2014.
