Watch an Irish Granny on a VR Rollercoaster!

There are a whole load of different applications of virtual reality – from gaming to watching movies, attending live events from afar, medical research and even artistic endeavours. And you can also use it to prank your granny.

That’s what happened to Ettie Carroll from Dunmanway, Co. Cork. Her grand nephew Ryan decided to see how Ettie got on with a roller coaster experience in VR and recorded it all for posterity.

Check out the hilarious video. There’s some NSFW language!

The headset is inspired by Google Cardboard and made in Ireland by Citsoc. Ryan Croke is the head of Sales & Marketing for the company and it looks like he’s got a viral hit on his hands with this video.
