The Electronic Entertainment Expo (or E3 for short) is a yearly event in Los Angeles where the biggest games studios and publishers come together for three days of detailing the future of the games industry.
Thousands of people, mostly journalists it seems, descend on the massive enclosures where the most impressive titles of the next 12 months will be unspooled in public and private. Every year, the event gets bigger and bigger, and 2014 was no exception.

It’s an over the top shooter with ridiculous parkour styled action and cartoonish explosions. It looks mega.
Lara is back in an all new adventure as well, this time called Rise of the Tomb Raider. The title won’t be out until 2015 and we don’t have a lot of news yet but it looks to be based around Croft learning the ways of the Raiding after the events of the recent reboot. And yes, this time the Tombs are back!
Dancers will be delighted to hear about the return of Dance Central with Spotlight – using the power of the Xbox One and Kinect to bring even more fun and challenge to the dancing genre.
Other publishers brought anticipated titles like Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Dragon Age: Inquisition as well as the blockbusting Assassin’s Creed: Unity which has a co-operative gameplay mode for the first time in the series’ history.
