Is your TV ready for the start of the Six Nations?

LG-55

The Six Nations gets underway this weekend with Ireland hoping to make it three Championship wins in a row. The title defence gets underway against Wales on Sunday, so you have a final few days to prepare mentally and to get your home in shape.

While Ireland has some big calls to make in the pack, you may have a big call of your own to make. Is your TV ready for the weeks ahead and is it in the best shape that it can be? It may be time to upgrade your TV, so that you can enjoy the hours of rugby ahead with the best picture quality available.

One TV we’re particularly fond of is LG’s 55-inch curved OLED TV. It features a four-colour panel to deliver exceptional colour depth and contrast, while its additional white sub-pixel enhances the colour range and accuracy.

It’s design oozes quality and style, while its subtle curve provides a more cinematic viewing experience. And it’s ultra slim, so you don’t have to worry about it taking up too much space.

The LG TV offers catch-up TV from the likes of BBC, TG4 and RTE through Aer TV, so you can catch up on matches you’ve missed, but it also gives you access to movies on demand via Sky Movies on NOW TV, Netflix and Amazon Instant to tide you over when there’s no sporting action on.

OLED has a response speed of over one thousand times faster than LED TVs, which means they’re the perfect choice for fast moving scenes such as sports. We can certainly hope that we can deliver some performances this year like the last day of last year’s campaign.

You can find the LG 55-inch curved OLED TV at Harvey Norman along with a wide selection of other TVs.
