The Apple iPad Pro has just gone on sale in selected countries, and it wants to bring you a whole new level of power.
It’s the largest tablet from Apple yet, with a glorious 12.9 inch Retina display at a resolution of 2732 x2048. The 5.6 million pixels will show off everything at their best, whether you’re editing 4K video, putting together a presentation or relaxing and watching a movie.
Inside, you’ll find a chipset with double the processing power of the iPad Air 2 and incredible graphics performance. This speed plus the larger screen makes it much easier to run two apps at the same time, so you can be more productive.
Despite the large display and impressive specs, the iPad Pro is just 6.9 mm thin and weighs only 713 grams. It’s big on power but can still be held in one hand to make it easier to use. And it sounds great too, thanks to the four speakers embedded in the frame, making sure you’re right at the centre of your audio.
The iPad Pro can be seen as a complete laptop replacement, especially when paired with the Smart Keyboard. It connects via the Smart Connector which provides data and power and also doubles up as a handy cover in case of spills.
Get even closer to the fine details of your work with the Apple Pencil – a new stylus which can be used for all kinds of creative endeavours thanks to its intuitive interaction with the large and sensitive screen.
The iPad Pro is the biggest thing to happen to tablets in years, and it will be available at Harvey Norman stores in Ireland on the 13th of November 2015.
