WhatsApp is a very useful messaging service which lets you connect with other people in your contacts and send them texts without having to use your regular phone credit.
The service runs entirely over data – whether that’s 3G/4G or using Wi-Fi – and allows you to connect with friends and family all over the world without having to worry about any extra cost.
This great texting service has been supplemented with easy access to voice calling for Android users since March 2015 and now the same feature is being rolled out to iOS.
So iPhone users will finally be able to select a contact and get the option to send a text or make a voice call, and all without having to use up your precious minutes. It’s especially useful for those who want to keep in touch in a different country, providing a rival to popular voice chat services like Skype.
The update will be coming to all iPhones over the next few weeks so make sure to update your apps or click here to download WhatsApp from the App Store.
In Short: WhatsApp is an amazing messaging service and its about to get even better on iPhones with the introduction of voice calls
