The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2018, aka E3 2018, may have only kicked off last night but we’ve already seen brand new trailers for some of the biggest games set to hit consoles and PCs in the next year.
In the first part of our E3 2018 Recap blog we’re taking a look at BioWare’s next game after the disappointing Mass Effect: Andromeda, FromSoftware’s latest IP and the recently announced Fallout 76 from Bethesda.
BioWare’s first game after last year’s Mass Effect: Andromeda is a brand new intellectual property that tasks players with defending a human settlement on an alien planet using some very Iron Man-like exosuits.
Anthem is a online co-op third person action adventure that follows a similar structure to Bungie’s popular sci-fi shooter, Destiny: team up with up to three friends and engage deadly enemies in online missions while scavenging for loot and better gear.
Anthem will be released worldwide on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on February 22nd, 2019.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
When FromSoftware teased a new game with the tagline ‘Shadows Die Twice’ last year, many assumed it was a sequel to Bloodborne or a reboot of cult PS1 game, Shadow Tower.
Instead we got a very action-orientated hack and slash set in feudal Japan staring a samurai with a robotic arm.
It looks more fluid and action-packed than traditional FromSoftware offerings, which could be a nice change of pace for SoulsBorne fans.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Spring 2019.
Ever since the release of Elder Scrolls Online, fans have been wondering if Bethesda’s beloved post-apocalyptic series would receive its own online edition.
Announced just two weeks ago, Fallout 76 is an online shooter in which you can team up with three other friends and head out into the Wasteland for high-octane hijinks.
It’s out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 14th, 2018.
