The internet is a big, open world packed with ideas, tips, and inspiration for your home. Here are just a few of our favourite Irish interior blogs and websites.
Homeware Huntress is the brainchild of Jenna, which acts – as she says – as an outlet for her homeware addiction. Not only does it detail the latest interior design trends, but it showcases DIY home décor projects and products from current interior collections too. The bulk of her posts highlight home accessories if you’re looking to add something new to your home and get some retail therapy in.
Alex is the Interior DIYer, and with a BA in Interior Design from Griffith College Dublin, she’s one to listen to when it comes to interior design projects. The blog is written to appeal to anyone willing to tackle a DIY project, no matter their level of expertise. There are some really interesting and creative DIY projects covered on her blog, including easy ways to freshen up stools, homemade blanket hangers, and repair tutorials.
House and Home is the magazine to consult for interiors advice, and its website features plenty of interesting and useful content too. There are articles covering homeware accessories and products, interior design inspiration, expert advice and tips, and spotlights of real houses in Ireland. It makes for a thoroughly interesting read, even if you just like to see what’s possible.
Moya describes Designology as a place where she gets to share all the things that inspire her and ignite her love of design. The website is used to showcase inspiring designs, interior design collections, and to take visitors inside homes to get ideas. Moya covers interior design in-depth, but takes on some other topics too for a bit of variety.
