The summer is turning and that means it’s time for a whole new range of trends to arrive for the Autumn/Winter season.
Harvey Norman is ready with their new catalogue showcasing the best looks of Autumn/Winter 2016 and this has been in the planning stages for months, with a major photo shoot taking place earlier in the year.
You can catch a glimpse at all the work which goes into creating these catalogues, complete with a two week photo shoot, in this video, where you’ll also meet head of homeware Yvonne Nugent and Joanna Lawler who is the head of visual merchandising.
Together, they break down what to expect from the new season.
These images are of huge importance because they create concrete examples of the styles and trends which will be popular in the months ahead, and that’s a vital resource for customers looking for inspiration for their own home.
The new Contemporary trend is softer than the perennially popular industrial angle and the overall colours are more muted than the bright bold bursts of the summer season. That means there’s room for bringing out those more colourful spots in batches of flowers and the warmer pop of Camel and Cognac.
