Harvey Norman at EuroCucina 2018: Day One Update

Launched all the way back in 1974, the biennial EuroCucina International Kitchen Exhibition at the Milan Fairgrounds in Milan, Italy, is Europe’s leading kitchen trade show and a fantastic opportunity to learn about the biggest kitchen trends set to hit homes over the coming two years.

The event features exhibits from 111 of the world’s biggest and brightest companies and includes a wide variety of showcase kitchens such as plastic laminate kitchens, wood kitchens, metal kitchens, masonry kitchens, natural stone kitchens and more, in addition to the most exciting kitchen furnishing accessories set to hit the market in the near future.

Harvey Norman was invited to this year’s event and we sent a few of our trusted home appliance specialists to see what new trends, products and appliances EuroCucina has in store for us.

The event kicked off on Tuesday, 17th of April, with a very exclusive invite only cocktail event at the theatre Metropol (current offices of Dolce & Gabbana) in honour of Milan Design Week 2018 and Dolce and Gabbana’s partnership with legendary Italian manufacturer Smeg.

Indeed the event showcased the latest designs from the wonderful Dolce & Gabbana Smeg Collaboration and Steffano Gabbana himself was spotted at the event with Smeg CEO Vittorio Bertazzoni.

The theme of the cocktail event was Divina Cucina (Divine Cuisine) and we’re happy to report that we were most definitely inspired by the divine setting and products!

Some of the beautiful Dolce & Gabbana Smeg Collaboration products on display at the event included a toaster, refrigerator, oven and blender, some of which you can see in the above and below images (don’t forget to scroll through the below Instagram post to see all pictures).

EuroCucina 2018 runs from April 17th – 22nd and we’ll be updating the Harvey Norman Go blog with more insights from this magical kitchen event over the next week.
