The air fryer cooks your food by circulating piping hot air around an appliance. The air is heated to 200 degrees Celsius and quickly cooks the outside of your food – which makes it perfect for getting chips that are crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

While a small amount of oil has to be used at the start it’s much less than in a conventional deep fat fryer. And you’ll always add fresh oil, rather than reusing some that has already been used for cooking.

Typically food cooked with an air fryer contains 80 percent less fat and you can also use these appliances to prepare numerous kinds of food – from vegetables to meat and more. And with significantly less oil the fryer is simple and quick to clean, and most are dishwasher safe.
