This year’s Mobile World Congress 2018 event was another stellar showcase of the best new smartphones and mobile technology set for release during the year.
We’ve already talked about the debut of the Samsung S9 and S9+ in addition to the Sony Xperia XZ2 and Nokia 7+, so in today’s blog we’re highlighting the best of the rest from Mobile World Congress 2018.
Energizer’s Long-lasting New Smartphone
Energizer, the battery company behind the famous bunny ads, has a new smartphone coming out and while this device isn’t too impressive compared to the likes of the S9 and Xperia XZ2, it does trump all other smartphones in the battery department.
The Energizer Hardcase H590S sports an impressive 5800mAh battery, one of the most powerful batteries in any existing or upcoming smartphone and the company claims the device can last for about two days between charges.
Huawei MateBook X Pro
This eye-catching laptop was definitely one of the stars of the show at MWC 2018 thanks to its almost bezel-less screen, a pretty impressive feature no doubt inspired by smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S8 and iPhone X.
The Huawei MateBook X Pro’s display size is so big that Huawei had to move this laptop’s camera from the traditional spot above the screen to a small pop-up button hidden between the F6 and F7 keys on the keyboard.
Super-thin and notably lightweight, the Huawei MateBook X Pro represents the next generation of ultra-portable laptops.
This friendly little robot was a big hit at this year’s event, following attendees around the venue and helping them out when they got lost.
Temi is billed as a ‘personal robot’ and can complete a variety of voice assistant tasks such as playing requested songs, telling the weather, making and receiving handsfree video calls, interacting with smart home devices and more.
As expected, this year’s Mobile World Congress showcased not only the latest and greatest smartphones but also some pretty impressive new tech products set for release this year.
We can’t wait to get our hands on them!
