And now for the juices!
2 clementines, peeled
1 carrot, peeled
½ small pineapple
1cm piece peeled ginger
- Cut the carrot and pineapple into chunks and put in the juicer along with the clementines and ginger. Juice following the instructions for your machine. Pour into a large glass and serve.
¼ large honeydew melon
½ cucumber, cut into large pieces
1 lime, zest and pith removed
- Take the melon, remove the seeds, then cut the flesh away from the outer skin and chop into chunks. Put the melon, cucumber and lime through your juicer following the manufacturer’s instructions. Pour into a tall glass and serve.
5cm piece cucumber, chopped
1 big celery stick, chopped
good handful of spinach
150ml chilled unsweetened apple juice
juice of a lime
chilled coconut water, optional
- Put the vegetables in a deep bowl with the apple and lime juices and blitz with a hand blender (or in a blender or food processor) until as smooth as you can get it. Tip into a glass and drink as it is or dilute with coconut water for the consistency you like.
